Resilience evaluation and optimization strategy of old communities in Wuhan based on public health emergencies

Abstract
Urban resilience plays a positive role in promoting the response to public health emergencies and is an important means and approach to improve the level of urban response to public health emergencies. As an important space carrier for residents' activities, community public space is the key to determining the overall resilience level of the community, as well as the necessary basic guarantee conditions for dealing with public emergencies. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, communities, as the cells of the city, have made timely prevention and control responses. In this process, the community public space becomes an important link between residents' home isolation and the outside world. From the Angle of community toughness evaluation, this paper will focus on the mainly content of city toughness, extending to the human-oriented community resilience, first analysis between old community public space and the characteristics of toughness and relationship, building response to emergent public health events of community toughness evaluation index system, the objective and toughness of wuhan old community assessment, In addition, the main factors affecting community resilience are discussed and their impact on the level of responding to public health emergencies is discussed, and then strategies for improving resilience of old communities under the scope of responding to public health emergencies are proposed.
